WampServer

I had install wamp server 2 times. My window is latest win10, its working fine is old win7 but not in win10.
the error is

The Apache service named

reported the following error: >>>
AH00015: Unable to open logs


In the file c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file the active lines with the name [localhost] in them is

# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 localhost

Change it to this

Can you check that you do not have another APACHE installed or if you did have an Apache installed make sure that the file `httpd.conf` does not exists in any folder outside the \wamp\apache folders

no other apache installed

It's because of the MS ISS. The Port 80 is already used by this service ( You can check port 80 by wamp). You have to disable this service, or change the port of WAMP to e.g 8080 in httpd.conf

I think he means

MS = Microsoft
ISS = IIS
