WampServer

Dear Wamp Server Forum:

I am attempting to install for the first time wamp server

downloaded latest version for 32 bit architecture

the issue is as follows:

download ended, and I press run program

immediately
a pop up message with the following comes up:

Error 5: Access denied

Unable to create directory C:\Users\MSC\App Data\Local\Temp\is-5SHD.tmp


-------------------------------------------------

my operating system is

Windows 7 Professional
Service Pack 1


I would appreciate a step by step troubleshooting instruction.

Hi,

Thats an unsual error. I dont think its anything to do with WAMPServer.

I would try again after doing a system cleanup

Start -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup

Hi,

You must install as an Administrator even in an Administrator session.
