WampServer I installed Version 3.0.6 32bit

Maintainer / Upgrade to 2.5 by Herve Leclerc
Upgrade to 3 to Otomatic (wampserver@otomatic.net)
Multi styles for homepage to Jojaba
Apache 2.4.23 - 6.5.25 PHP - MySQL 5.7.14
PHP 6.5.25 for CLI (Command-Line Interface)

Previously, I had the earlier version, and everything happened as it should be.
During installation I get an error message:
mysqld.exe - Entry Point Not Found (The procedure entry point TryAcquireSRW Lock Exclusive could not be located in dynamic library KERNEL32.dll)

I do not know why please help?
I can not delete or do anything with the file KERNEL32.dll, I tried.

during startup, every time ,there is a window command a few second, it was not in the earlier version

PLEASE HELP!

could try delete the file KERNEL32.dll
with safe mode?
But is this really it for this file is it?

No dont delete that file

It sounds like you may have installed as a User and not as an Administrator

What is the Windows version you use ?

Download the tool to verify that all needed VC++ packages are installed Check VC++ packages installed
then run it as an administrator.

By default the MYSQL `root` accounts password is not set.

The mysqlConsole uses the `root` account and therefore all you need to do is HIT ENTER leaving the password blank.

Windows Vista - Home Premium Service Pack 2
VC++ check is OK

I left the files after the previous WampServer

Hi,

Mysql 5.7.x is not supported by Windows Vista : MySQL Supported platforms

Install MySQL 5.6.33 addon.

I need to uninstall the current version of WampServer?
or download only MySQL 5.6.33 32-bit x86 and run as administrator?

MySQL 5.7.15 32 bit x86 ?

or should I seen the addition of a new accessory created mysql?

Don't uninstall !

Just download addon MySQL 5.6.33 32 bit then run it as administrator

Hi,

Exit Wampserver before install MySQL addon.

Install addon - as an administrator.

Run Wampserver, wait for green icon.

Left-click Wampmanager tray icon, MySQL -> Version -> 5.6.33

That's all

I can not change mysql
when you try to change an error occurs:
Could not execute menu item (internal error)
[Exception]Could not perform build-in-action:No service has been opened yet!

Sorry, but I did not think that because MySQL was not started, you could not change the version.
We will try a "trick" without being sure that it works ; I try it, it works with my system.

- Exit Wampserver
- Open à command windows as an administrator (Must be Administrator in the title of the windows)
in this command windows type:

sc delete wampmysqld

May be an error message like: The specified service does not exist as an installed service.
It does not matter

- Edit with a correct text editor like Notepad++ the file wamp/wampmanager.conf
- Replace

mysqlVersion = "5.7.14"

by

mysqlVersion = "5.6.33"

Be sure that the folder wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.6.33\ exists
Save the modified file

- Launch Wampserver even if not green
- Wampmanager tray icon -> MySQL -> Service administration -> Install service
- Wampmanager tray icon -> MySQL -> Service administration -> Start/Resume service
