WampServer

Hi,

I am new to WAMPSERVER and I seem to have made a mistake installing. I did install WAMPSERVER and it runs properly but I also installed MYSQL57 afterwards. So MYSQL57 starts up with the machine. If I start the WAMPSERVER it stays orange.

Is there a way to tell the WAMPSERVER that I want it to use MYSQL57 instead of wampmysqld?

For now I can get around the issue by stopping MYSQL57 and using WAMPMYSQLD.

Should I just uninstall MYSQL57?

What is best to do at this point.

Hi

WAMPServer 3.0.6 (the latest version) comes with MYSQL5.7.10

If that is not good enough for you, you can then download and install an ADDON (i.e. simple install to add to whats there already) of MYSQL5.7.15 (the latest version).


So uninstall whatever you call MYSQL57, WAMPServer has everything you need already included
