WampServer

I have just installed Wamp on a windows 8.1 machine. The icon is pink. When I click on it nothing happens. Nothing opens it does nothing.

When you click the WAMPServer icon on your desktop, it starts wampmanager.exe. This shows as an icon in your System Tray.

Not all apps that run in the system try show on the tray, you need to click the chevron to show all the apps that do not fit on your system tray. You should see a "W" icon in there.

You can drag and drop the "W" icon onto the visible part of the System tray and it will remain on there so you can always see it.
