WampServer

I have a series of files written in HTML and php and using sql. I have been running them using my home network as I developed them. When I go to use the files it will be through multiple computer via a wireless router not connected to the internet. When I ran a test of this set up I could not run my files from any computer other than the one with the wamp server as I kept getting an error in the browser saying unable to open file ... no internet connection found. Is an internet connection required to run the wamp server?

No the internet is not required, but a correctly setup internal network is required.
