WampServer

Whenever I go to localhost, all my folders pop up with my PHP files inside but when I click on the link to open them, it gives me an error saying that the page was not found! Please help.

I have a windows 8.1 and I am running wampserver 32bit version 2.5, apache 2.4.9, PHP 5.5.12, and MySQL 5.6.17.

Also, my icon is green so nothing seems to be going wrong although it is.

Are you sure that your php scripts have a .php extension? If they dont then they will not be executed.
