WampServer

I have just loaded WampServer on my Windows 7 machine and cannot get the icon to turn green.

The system details are shown below:

Operating System Windows 7 Professional 32 bit Service Pack 1
WampServer Version 2.5
Apache : 2.4.9
MySQL : 5.6.17
PHP : 5.5.12
PHPMyAdmin : 4.1.14
SqlBuddy : 1.3.3
XDebug : 2.2.5

Icon is Orange

SQL Serice Loaded
Apache not loaded

System Log error:

The Apache service named reported the following error:
>>> (OS 10013)An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access
permissions. : AH00072: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80

IIS V6 was loaded but has been uninstalled but port 80 test still shows:

Your Port 80 is actuallu used by:

Server Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0

Press Enter to exit

I have checked the windows settings and IIs is fully disabled however this machins also has
Visual Studio 2012 loaded as this is a development machine.

If the WampServer icon is NOT GREEN please ensure you have looked at these files :-
a - Apache error log
-- ( wampmanager -> Apache -> Apache error log )
-- ( wampmanager -> Apache -> Apache access log )
b - MySQL error log ( wampmanager -> MySQL -> MySQL log )
c - PHP error log ( wampmanager -> PHP -> PHP error log )

All the above log files are blank

I believe this is to do with IIs but not sure how to resolve so some advise would be greatfully be received.

Hi Bill,

IIS comes with a few other parts that are not always obvious, have a look for these as well and either uninstall or disable them as well as IIS

1. IIS
2. Web Deploy 2.0
3. MS Sql Server Reporting service.
4. BranchCache ( Windows 8.1 )

I found: Web Deployment Agent Service & SQL Server VSS Writer
after disabling both the service is now working
