You write : WAMP Update to 3.0.4 from 2.5
The update is 3.0.3 from 2.5, there is no update 2.5 to 3.0.4.

After the update 2.5 -> 3.0.3, nothing is changed:
- You use the Apache version you are using before.
- You use the PHP version you are using before.
- You use the MySQL version you are using before.

The httpd.conf, httpd-vhosts.conf you are using before updating was not changed.

This means that you switch versions of Apache, PHP and MySQL after updating 2.5 to 3.0.3

- Did you have access to localhost BEFORE switch Apache and PHP Version?
If you don't know, you can switch to Apache and PHP version you are using with version 2.5 to confirm.

- What is the contents of C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file ?

and nothing else.
