Having the yellow icon thingy.

So im having the yellow wamp ion. I dont know why, cause before i reinstalled my computer, it was green all the time. And yes my skype is off, and no, i dont have ISS. And it shows that my port 80 or 8080 is not used. What could be the problem?

P.S. Sorry for my bad English, and i have Windows 7

Hi

As you have reinstalled, I think that the two services wampapache and wampmysqld (wampapache64 and wampmysqld64 for 64 bit Wampserver) was deleted.
See in the Service manager.

To create these services:
Run Wampserver as an administrator and, even if the icon is not green:
- Wampmanager tray icon -> Apache -> Service -> Install service
- Wampmanager tray icon -> MySQL -> Service -> Install service
- Wampmanager tray icon -> Start services

I tried it, and it showed me api-ms-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll

When i install Microsoft Visual C++ it just wont go till the end

Hi,

You must run the exe file "as an administrator":
- Right-Click on the exe file then Run as an administrator.

For information:
Alle the needed VC++ runtime installation files are on [wampserver.aviatechno.net]

In the same site there is a tool "Checks VC++ packages installed" to see what packages you need to install.
