WampServer

Hi,
Just did my first install and I have tried reading all other posts on this error and others but can't seem to figure this out on my own.

I am running Windows XP and have installed the C++ 2010 and Wampserver 32 bit 2.2E

I get the "Could not execute" error and the icon stays orange.

Have tried Windows Firewall off and AVG off and re-install.

Do not have Skype and Test Port 80 says not used.

IIS is unchecked.

Anything else I can do?

I found this solution on google:

Try this:
Open Control Panel then Network Connections.
Right click on Local Area Connection and select Properties
Double click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) line to open the Properties
On the General tab, click the Advanced button
Click the wins tab and uncheck the Enable LMHOSTS Lookup box

But I don't seem to have a "wins" tab and can't find "enable lmhosts" on my computer

Do you have this runtime library installed as well as the 2010 one?

( VC++ 2008 x86 must also be installed as the WampServer menu uses libraries from it - it should be installed by default in most versions of Windows , just check Add/Remove programs to see if its listed)

When i set virtual host to my server shows yellow color.. apache was not started i have found from services.msc.

How to start wampapache server?

Well it looks like you are trying to load the php_curl extension twice.

Look in your php.ini ( Edit it using the wampmanager -> PHP -> php.ini )

Search for :-

extension=php_curl.dll

If you find it more than once remove all except one.
