Change DocumentRoot to Network Drive

Wamp x64 is running on a virtual machine running Windows 7x64.

On the virtual machine there is a network drive (E:\) that I would like to use as the DocumentRoot for wamp along with the normal c:\wamp\www.

I've been using these two guides to no avail:
[stackoverflow.com]
[forum.wampserver.com]

I have tried countless other ways as well and have been struggling with this for a few days now.

The first link I posted is a guide to creating a virtual host that is pretty much the same as the one you posted. What do I enter for the path? To access the directory in the file browser I would do E:\www\ but wamp won't function properly when I enter that.
