That's all I get. I've followed every bit of advice I can find to get my pages to load and nothing.

Allow All this and Allow All that. This worked for me in one forum, and that worked for me in that forum.

First point:
There are hundreds of milions of PC and tens of millions of different configurations; Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, in 32bit, in 64 bit; with all the updates or without any update or with three-quarters of updates; with virus or not; with malware or not; with the right drivers or with bad drivers; with mixtures of DLL; with DLL copied by hand instead of being installed; with Sharing disks or not; with the Insider program or not; with port forwarding on the router or not; with good or misconfigured firewall; with antivirus that blocks any attempt to access a local server without the user having any idea; some users change everything and anything and especially anyhow hoping that it will work as with a magic wand; etc.

So yes, it works on my system, but I do not know why it works, and especially how to make it work everywhere.
I am not a soothsayer or a guru, and I absolutely cannot know why it does not work for you.

Second point:
Wampserver is first and foremost designed to be a LOCAL development server and nothing else.

Some want to use Wampserver as a production server or intranet server, I can understand, but Network Administrator is a profession that requires training and knowledge that I have not and neither should you.

App and shortcut, Run as Administrator

D/Wamp

No Antivirus, no skype

port forwarding settings from previous wamp installation that worked for 3 years in tact
firewall settings in tact.


3 x Virtual Hosts, each one on a separate partition, E, F and G. Each one has a wordpress site in it.
config.php for each site remain in tact.

Removed hash # Include conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf

myphpadamin set up accordingly. Users, Databases passwords etc.


ONE SITE LOADS...

the other two don't. I get this message..

Nonetheless I have uninstalled, done a quick ccclean, re-installed in fresh partition D:/.

Wamp is currently online.

Hi,

Update to Wampserver 3.0.5. You just need to run - as an administrator - the update file :
wampserver3_x86_x64_update3.0.5.exe

Then, with tray menus, you can open the correct file in Notepad++ :

- Wampmamaner tray icon -> Apache -> httpd-vhosts.conf

which is the Virtual Host configuration file and not the Apache configuration file httpd.conf.

I had already applied the update at point of installation. I applied it again as Administrator. Restarted all services and am still only getting one of the three sites load up.

Hi,

You have absolutely no follow explanations of The need for Virtual Host. The definitions of your VirtualHost are, to say the least, quite folk.

And why did you have same DocumentRoot but with different domain names?

I will not write your VirtualHost as it should be, then, to go to a good start, which I would recommend is:
- 1 - Exit Wampserver
- 2 - Edit the windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts file so that there is ONLY :

127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost

and absolutely nothing else. (Don't forget to save the modified file).

- 4 - Launch Wampserver
- 5 - Launch localhost page
- 6 - Launch Tools -> Add a VirtualHost link
- 7 - Add your own VirtualHost with the form.
You can add all your VirtualHost one after the other and then perform Restart DNS once at the end.

In my defense, I am old, and I mean old, so that explains the 'folk' code and not understanding The need for Virtual Host doc. I have different domain names coz i have 3 different 3 sites on separate partitions.

Hi,
I was obsessed with the fact that you gave the contents of httpd.conf and not httpd-vhosts.conf file and this twice. Therefore I was not interested in me the content of your httpd.conf. But a replay that shows me that you are made unauthorized changes that will cause problems.
In 99.95% of Wampserver installations, we should NEVER modify httpd.conf
Also, for Wampserver works properly, you MUST re-state your original httpd.conf.

Replace

by

Replace

Does that mean that you are trying to connect to your local sites from another PC on the Internet and using NO-IP?

Before wanting to do so, that is to say, before wanting to be hosting and Internet server, it is imperative to check that you have access to your sites, locally and without using NO-IP.
I think for the use of NO-IP, RiggsFolly could tell you more; this is something I do not know at all.

BEFORE want to make its local sites accessible from the Internet, it is imperative to check that they are fully accessible and functional locally.
This can be done from the home page of Wampserver (localhost) by clicking on the links in the column Your VirtualHost or from the menu Your VirtualHosts on the Wampmanager tray icon.

Good news.

If you want them to be accessible from the outside, it has to be explicitly permitted.
Currently, the access permissions for all your VirtualHost are only local and this is determined by the Apache directive "Require local" for each VirtualHost.

So you have to change the permissions of VirtualHost EXCEPT localhost that of which must always remain "Require local"

There is not (yet?) Utility that can do that with three clicks!
So you need to edit "by hand" the file httpd-vhosts.conf

For the VirtualHost wanted - I repeated except localhost - you replace:

Require local

by

Require all granted

Don't forget to save the modified file.
Then :
- Right-Click Wampmanager tray icon -> Tools -> Restart DNS
