WampServer

Hi,

I tried to install the Wampserver3 addon (wampserver3_x64_addon_php7.0.8.exe) on Windows 10 Pro and I got the error message below:

Disk "c:" used for install path "c:\wamp64\" is not NTFS formated. Wampserver only works on a NTFS disk.

I checked the properties of my local disk C: and the file system is NTFS.

I have already installed "wampserver3.0.4_x64_apache2.4.18_mysql5.7.11_php5.6.19-7.0.4" and everything is working fine but I wanted to install the addon for the latest version of PHP7.

Does anyone know how I might be able to install the addon?

Download it from [wampserver.aviatechno.net] it does not contain check NTFS.

It seems that according to the Windows 10 versions, the behavior of the Microsoft API to test the partition type is different.

I am having the same problem here. Installing Wampserver 3.0.4 and upgrading it to 3.0.5 worked fine. Wampserver is running currently on the machine as well.

MySQL 5.7.9
Taskbar icon is green. All services running.

If it were an API issue, the main product shouldn't install either. Unless it doesn't actually check if you're on NTFS or not. WampServer 3.0.4 was installed on the same machine using Windows 10 64-Bit. The Addon to upgrade to Wampserver 3.0.5 installed just minutes before I posted my comment. On the same machine running Windows 10 64-bit. Wampserver is currently running on said machine without issue.

Only the addons PHP 5.6.23 and 7.0.8 on Sourceforge verify the NTFS formatting.
This is a test that was verified on PC and twelve different systems.
Unfortunately, it seems that in some cases this check malfunctioning.
One in the Francophone forum and two cases on this forum.
For information, addons PHP 5.6.23 and 7.0.8 have been downloaded more than 4,500 times. NTFS detection errors are very marginal.
Regarding the error encountered on the Francophone forum, it disappeared after the user has performed a repair of Windows 10 system.
Nevertheless, I decided not to do this test in the next addons.

I had the same problem. The solution was simple. The file I tried to run from the folder Crome Downloads on drive C eventually jumped out the error, but after I moved to the D drive, and from it ran, all established without problems. Sorry for goole translate.

Download addons PHP 7.0.8 and 5.6.23 from [Wampserver.aviatechno.net] as there is no NTFS checking from this deposit.
