Can you force WAMP to use Notepad++ when edit WAMP's PHP.INI ?

Each time I open WAMP this file is opened with the regular Windows notepad.

Navigating manually to the WAMP's PHP.INI file is sisyphic and there are several files with the same name (PHP.INI) coming with the program and their locatins can changed in some releases so in any case it is better to access the file than the WAMP GUI but I just need it to open with Notepad++...

I already tried to mark all PHP files as "always use the selected program to open this kind of file", but it didn't help.

Deleted self-answer: Solution didn't work after "Restart all services".

Hi,

Installers for Wampserver 3.0.0 (November 2015) and Wampserver 3.0.4 (March 2016) ask the user to choose browser and text editor he wants to use with Wampserver.
In the wamp/wampmanager.conf file there are comments explaining how to change browser and text editor.

I putted:

editor ="C:/Program Files (x86)/Notepad++/notepad++.exe"

Note I used / instead of \.

Restarted all services, but no change - Still opened with Notepad.

After modifications of wamp/wampmanager.conf file you must restart Wampserver.

Big thanks to Otomatic to continue to update this great tool... smiling smiley

For info to use PSPAD as editor with Windows10, I need to use \ for the editor path in the wampmanager.conf file and not the / (or I got always the pspad.exe file opened as well)

For the browser I continue to use / like mentionned and it works fine.

Maybe it helps someone...
