Wampserver taking a long time to load pages

I'm using the newest wamp server and when I click on the links on my website it takes a while to load. I'm also using windows 8.

There are a couple of thisng that may help.
1. Use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost on all your MySQL connections
2. Add these lines to your httpd.conf file
