WampServer

Hello,

I want to use various versions of Apache, PHP, and MySQL.
But I don't know how to install.

I found similar topic on this forum as bellow:

left click wamp> php>version> get more>
select the version ytou want and download it.
install the exe.

I tried this way but there were no another versions' downloader.
("get more" is redirected ?)

Please let me know how to do.

Can you answer these question please so we know what version of WAMPServer you are running and a few other things.

Version of Operating system? -> Windows7 pro 64bit
Version of Wamp Server installed? -> Wampserver 2.5 64 bits
Version of Apache you are running? -> Apache : 2.4.9
Version of MySQL you are running? -> MySQL : 5.6.17
Version of PHP you are running? -> PHP : 5.5.12
What colour is your WampManager icon? ( the in the system tray ) -> Green
Do you have a HOSTS file? -> yes ("127.0.0.1 localhost" is only written)

Ok so you are using WampServer 2.5

The 'Add More' links have been removed as WAMPServer 2.5 or rather the Apache/MySQL and PHP in that version are compiled with MSVC 20012 ( MSVC11) and the ADDONS were all compiled with MSVC6. Unfortunately that makes them incompatible so as they were incompatible and VERY OLD they were withdrawn.

I assume that concept will be resurected in the future, but for now it was expected that they woudl create so much noise on this forum with people not getting the complexities that is was safer to remove them.

Thay are actually still available on sourceforge and you can download them if you want to, and just run them like any other install, they should install. BUT BEWARE, you are not going to get much help from here if you get into problems.


Before I talk about manually installing version that you may want, what versions of which software do you want to use i.e. which Apache and which PHP and which MySQL?
