Hi,
Well if you start the other MYSQL first you will see (like you say) that the WAMPServer MySQL Server does not start. Thats because they both try to use TPC PORT 3306.
So if wampservers MySQL has not started you will in fact be using the other MYSQL Server.
This will get a bit fiddly though.
My suggestion would be to
- backup your database(s) on the other MySQL
- Stop the other MySQL
- Start WAMPServers MYSQL
- Restore the databases to WAMPServers MYSQL
Once you are sure you have all you need from the old MYSQL I would then uninstall the other MySQL
Now all your databases are in one place and under one MYSQL.
