WampServer

I installed a magento with sample data on my local with wamp 2.5 and it was ok.

after install wamp 3 with php 5.6 it was reallyyyy slow in the installation process and didnt finish.
I had to sop it, and after I went to mysql a drop the db to start again mysql died and I had to restart it.

Is thare a reason why mysql is so slow ?

Should I start playing with ini files from php and mysql ?

I already started doing that but cant see any differences on performance.

It does take agaes to install doesn't it!

Its a HUGH BEAST and it is not really designed to run on anything other than a unix/linux system.

You may make some improvements if you try and optimize some of the INNODB configurations, buffers etc but basically its all yours
