I have successfully Installed & configured Wampserver 2.5 with wordpress 3.9.1 on a local windows server.
Currently I can access the site with [localhost]

I wish to configure my Wampserver & Wordpress installation to be accessed by a FQDN based URL such as [www.mysite.com] . I have a DNS server in my environment & i can create a Host record too.

Can anyone help into sharing information of how to configure Local wordpress/wamp installation to work with a FQDN based URL access on a LAN.

You need to setup a Virtual Host
