This is normally because PHP times out before completeing the whole process.
If this is the case you will see a message in the PHP Error log about exceeding the max_execution_time
So edit your PHP.INI file ( use the wampmanager menus to make sure you are editing the correct file )
Look for
max_execution_time = 60
Chnage this to
max_execution_time = 360
Then run the install again.
When the install is completed, change the value back to no more than 60.
