WampServer

All you gurus out there - I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!!

I've been using wampserver (v2) on my windows x64 operating system for a while now with everything working fine.
Earlier today, I was working inside of phpmyadmin, adding databases, etc.

Now, I restarted my computer and all my localhost sites are working perfectly well, but when I try and go to localhost/phpmyadmin, I get the following error:

"phpMyAdmin - Error
Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly."

I have checked the logs - The php_error log is COMPLETELY EMPTY.

As for the apache logs, here are the relevant lines of each:

It's driving me nuts because I truly have NO CLUE what could be causing this, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

did you change anything in any of wamps config files?


if not

open browser, clear ALL history , and then restart browser , goto phpmyadmin page

and press - ' Open in new window ' below the error

Steven, I SWEAR to you, I am VERY competent in the IT sector, but it never occurred to me to clear my browser's history!

You solved my problem that has been bugging me for over 3 hours in 2 seconds flat!!!

I know, for some reasion browsers love to cache phpmyadmin , even when set to -

" RELOAD PAGE , EVERYTIME I VISIT THIS PAGE "

Wow, never would have guessed this. Thank you.

All I did was to remove browsing history, closed browser, and then selected PHPmyadmin from the Wampserver menu.
