Install the new phpMyadmin into \wamp\apps\phpmyadmin4.0.10.4
Go to \wamp\alias\phpmyadmin.conf
It looks like this
Amend the
Alias and
Directory lines to match the new folder names where you installed 4.0.10.4

Alias /phpmyadmin "d:/wamp/apps/phpmyadmin4.10.0.4/"
