WampServer

Hello,

I'm using wamp server in the company to run intranet portal. I/m using Joomla as the cms.
Everything is working perfectly. We can access the portal from any pc inside the office. But sometimes the portal doesn't open and we get a white page. Then I have to restart wamp server services and then it open perfectly again.
Why is that happening??!

Try looking at the logs, Apache and PHP and MySQL.

Look around the time when one of these issues happens to see if you can be more specific about what is happening and or failing!

I found this: client denied by server configuration: C:/wamp/www/favicon.ico

what is that?

A favicon is the little icon that appears in the browser address bar to the left of the address ( when you have one )

Browsers almost always ask for one but if you dont have one its not a problem.

However being denied by server config is a little strange as that means you are not allowed access to c:\wamp\www

Where is your site running from directory-wize?

I found the solution. There was a problem in php crul so I installed the extension and replaced the old one. The other problem was related to the permissions so I added:

Require all granted

in apache config file.
