my project is working fine on local host. how can i put it online to be accessible on internet?

Sorry for the late response, I was busy with my exams


Windows 7 Pro 32-bit
Wampserver 2.4
Apache Version 2.4.4
PHP 5.4.16
MySQL 5.6.12

The icon is green


I'm pretty stumped with my problem. The server is functioning fine on the localhost and on the LAN. I've set it's port to 8081, forwarded the port and verified that it's forwarded. I've configured Apache to listen for port 8081. I've even set up a DMZ on the local host and turned off both the router's firewall and Window's firewall. The server still doesn't function on the WAN.

Quickly edit that last post and take out your IP address or who knows how many hacks you will start getting.


I can access that page from here so your chnages have worked.


You were probably trying to use the external ip from inside your router. That does not work on most home type routers and commercial ones often have the feature required turned off.
