WampServer

I installed Wamp on windows 8 64bit, first it was not changing to green, it was stuck on orange, so I changed the settings in httpd.confg file and changed
Listen Port 80 to Listen Port 8080

It turned green and saying that server is online, but still when I try to open localhost or phpmyadmin, it gives error 404, not found.

i tried restarting and checked for every conflicting program like skype, it it still doesnt resolve.

Help required

well obviously something is using port 80 if you had to change the port.


if your not going to figure out what it is and stop it , and just change the port then you must include the port number in all urls

localhost:8080

localhost:8080/phpmyadmin etc
