I've just downloaded WAMP server version 2.4 .
That time it was working fine .Then I just updated the phpMyAdmin.
To update it I downloaded a zip file and extracted it on the desktop and then copied it and pasted it in"/wamp/apps" and then I changed the line
"Alias /phpmyadmin "c:/wamp/apps/phpmyadmin4.0.4/"
to "Alias /phpmyadmin "c:/wamp/apps/phpmyadmin/"
in the "phpmyadmin.conf" in the alias directory. Then I restarted it and from that time the WAMP sever icon on the task bar is in orange colour. It's not changing to green.I tried to stop it then start it again but still it's not working.I even tried to undo my steps .But it's still not working.

Please help...

You also need to change the directory names in the \wamp\alias\phpmyadmin.conf file
