I have installed the wamp per the wizard download, but it does not appear to be working correctly. After installation, I saw the orange icon. Looking for guidance I went to the forum and followed the instructions in the Stcky Wampserver 2.4 What to do after Installing. After completeing the changes and updates stated in the post, the icon is still orange. Also, when I tried to connect to the local host through firefox, I received an error stating it was unable to connect. Not sure where I went wrong, but help is greatly appreciated.

Windows 7, 64 bit
Wamp Server 2.4
Apache 2.4.4
MySQL 5.6.12
PHP 5.2.4 is the version I attempted to install, but according to the wamp menu > php it states “this version is not compatible with my Apache Version. Switch cancelled”. It appears version 5.4.12 was installed instead.

Wamp is orange.

Did you install WAMPServer 32bit or 64 bit.

If it was 64bit then uninstall and install the 32bit, all ADDONS are compile with 32bit compiler.

Thanks, it appears to be working, or at least the icon is green.

Thanks Again
