Hi everyone,
Rather new to WAMP.
I have a few local websites that employ mysql and php and they work fine.

If I try to connect using the C# connector or .net's sql client, I get errors saying it cannot locate any of the mysql hosts.

Please can you help me find out what is wrong?

Firewall is set to allow port 3306 on TCP

Are you running under WAMP(Apache) or IIS?

Dont think any of this is anything to do with wamp. Try for help on a C# or Microsoft site for help.

If you are using the MySQL that comes with WAMPServer then just check that the WAMPManager is running and that the MySQL Service ( wampmysql ) is started.

Read The Manuals Apache -- MySQL -- PHP -- phpMyAdmin
Get your Apache/MySQL/mariaDB/PHP ADDONs here from the WAMPServer alternate Repo
