Help with installation please

Hi,
I've just installed the last version of WAMP but it does not appear to be working. I have written some very basic php (just an echo statement) in notepad, and transferred the .php file to the www directory, and it does appear on my website at all. The WAMP icon is coloured green which is a good sign. But when I click on Localhost the page does not appear as it should do. There is a notice saying "Seeing this instead of the website you expected?". And when I go to Apache -> Service -> Install Service the command line says:

Your port 80 is actually used by:
Server: Apache/2.0.58 <Win32> PHP/5.1.4
Cannot install the Apache service, please stop this application and try again.
Press Enter to exit...

I should also point out that Skype is installed on my laptop but it was not running when I installed WAMP or tried to use WAMP.
I hope I have given all the information you need to provide a solution.
Thanks in advance

You have another Apache installed. Look at the message ( Apache/2.0.58 )

Have a look at Windows Services. I bet you see a service called 'Apache'

Wamps apache is called 'wampapache'

Uninstall or disable the old version of apache.
