I am having the same problem, reinstalling does not work, it has to do with the service not installing, somebody has to figure out how to install the wampapache service, when i tried using the Apache2 service in place of wampapache it worked fine

For those having difficulty in having Apache running you may want OP IIS services from running (Admin>Services>IIS - Stop).

Restart All services from the WAMP server icon tray, should get both the services running.

Pls report back if this helps you.

cheers,

chris

Hi All,

after installing WAMP, all services are running, but when selecting "localhost" in the menu in the task bar I get the message:

"Page cannot be viewed" in IE.

I uninstalled IIS and de-activated my firewall and virus-scanner...

What is happening, what should I do, what did I wrong ?

Thanks in advance

Lambert
