ok someone please help me before i go INSANE! ive been here for hours trying to access the sql buddy on local host.

when i click localhost then i click sql buddy and it says 403 forbidden. i have tried what some other forums say and it doesnt work \

ive been trying and trying and nothing is working someone please help me!!!!!!!

Take a look at your 'apache error log' and the 'php error log'

If you dont understand the errors post a few here.

Ok try this:

edit c:\wamp\alias\sqlbuddy.conf

Change this section to contain what I have here

<Directory "d:/wamp/apps/sqlbuddy1.3.3/">
    Options Indexes FollowSymLinks ExecCGI
    AllowOverride all
    Require local
</Directory>

There are 2 other .conf files in that folder, it would be a good idea to do the same to all of them.
The important bit to change is this

Require local


Let me know if that worked

Go to Apache/Service and choose Test Port 80. If is shows something already listening, then you need to turn that off. I had to turn off Nuance Cloud service for Omnipage Pro as it was listening on port 80. Also look at things like Teamviewer or other programs that are running that listen on port 80.

ok i pasted what u said to in the alias and now my wamp logo went from staying at green to staying at yellow.

my port 80 is open and i cant put it on online

when i click put online it says

could not execute menu item(internal error)

Install TeamViewer and I will troubleshoot for you.

Install TV, then run it.

Do this before attempting a connection.

How to Configure Team Viewer so it does not require port 80 or 443

Run TV
Extras -> Options -> Advanced -> Press the Advanced Button -> Advanced Network Connections

Check the checkbox saying [ Dont use incomming port 80 (recommended for web servers only ) ]
Stop and restart TV.

Then
Send me a Private Message containing the TV ID and PASSWORD so I can connect.
Leave TV running as it will change the password each time you restart it.

I am on UK time (GMT+1) and am normally available 09:00 - 16:00 and sometimes later into the evening.

is there a way without using team viewer because that is kinda sketchy useing team viewer because u can access anything

Ok how about this can i add you on skype and share my screen with u and we go from there because skype has a feature to let me share my screen and we can just audio chat or just text chat there and u can tell me what to do
