Is it safe to share folders with wamp server user without privileges

Hello i followed a tutorial on how to secure a wamp install.
one of the suggestions was to run apache on his own user account (normal account without admin)
for security reasons .
now i have this problem when i want to access the content to the folders i SHOULD share the folder or else it gives me an error (unable to connect) i am using a dropbox folder to share content across the network
there is some other way??? is there any risk????

The Apache user must have access to the folder. See the Security tab under the folder properties to check permissions.
