mysql_connect Access denied

Hi, I just reinstalled a new version of WAMP5, previous version was uninstalled automatically and manually as was described in Faq. I have user "Owner", host "localhost and no password. When I try to connect to the database, access is denied. What it might be?

user is 'root' and there's no password use blank

Thanks, I saw that user is root, and now everything runs just perfect.
