Working on Multiple Windows Machines

Using Dropbox or a shared network drive over hamachi how can I enable working on my sites on multiple machines without carrying a flash drive with me everywhere.
I will work on stuff at work then want to work on it from home or on my laptop and if I don't remember to copy everything to a thumb drive I can't.
What do you use accomplish this? Is it doable?

I have used dropbox to do stuff like this. Is dropbox permitted in your work place?
