Wampserver for Minecraft, help.

Hello,

I am currently trying to use the wampserver and MYSQL for a Minecraft database. The wampserver seems to be running and connects to the localhost perfectly.

I believe the default port it is running on is port 80 (if not, I can change it to the correct port)

When I create a user and a database and use it on a Minecraft server for one of it's plugins and start the server, it does not connect to the database and will not create tables.

What is the solution?

Mysql port is 3306

Yeah it is 3306, I just verified it.

What else is causing this issue? It cannot connect to the database..

Username is root

And there is no password set by default.

This needs to be written in config file for minecraft

Well I created a username, database and password for the username,

I wanted to run a database for each minecraft server, so wouldn't I need separate details for each one?

Yes you would but if you can't connect I am assuming you did it wrong.


Try root with no password and see If it will connect
