Does Wampserver run on Win 8 or Win 8 Pro?

Hi all,

I am getting a new PC. Deciding on A Win 8 or a Win 8 Pro. As I will be doing local server testing, I need to run a wampserver on my local machine.

Do I need to get Win 8 Pro to support wampserver? Or just a Win 8 would suffice?

I have a problem, install wampserver in windows 8 pro 64bits but can not run mysql
