WampServer

Greetings-

I did a cursory search for this and didn't see anything pertaining to my problem.

I have installed wamp and am able to view the page when I type in localhost into my browser. I have verified that the ssl_module is checked for Apache and that php_openssl is checked for php.

I have installed Composer and it seems to run just fine; however, when i attempt to do an update or an install or anything requiring a download, I get an error telling me that it is unable to download as well as unable to find the wrapper "https".

Any idea on what I should try next? I have bounced the server several times... still zero luck.
