If the wampmanager icon is Orange then one of either Apache or MySQL services has not started.

How to find out which one:
left click the wamp manager icon -> Apache -> Service
( If the Start Resume Service menu item is Green then Apache has not started )

left click the wamp manager icon -> MySQL -> Service
( If the Start Resume Service menu item is Green then Apache has not started )

Now look for errors in the appropriate error log ( use the wamp manager menus to view the error logs )

If these do not exists then also check the Windows Event Viewer
Start -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer
And look in the 'Windows Logs' -> Application' section accessed from the menu on the left of the dialog.

If the problem is not obvious then post the errors here

Ok the favicon errors are not a real problem.

But it does ask another question: If Apache is not started then how is apache writing errors to a log????

Have you tried to install Apache some other way? And not uninstalled it properly??

Run this

wampmanager -> Apache -> Service -> Test port 80

This will launch a command window and find out what process is using port 80.

Install TeamViewer and I will troubleshoot for you.

Install TV, then run it.

Send me a Private Message containing the TV ID and PASSWORD so I can connect.
Leave TV running as it will change the passord each time you restart it.
