WampServer

Previously used my installation of WampServer without problem. Everything OK as of 2 weeks ago.

1. Windows 7, 64 bit
2. WampServer 2.5, 64 bit
3. Apache version 2.4.9
4. PHP version 5.5.12
5. SQL version 5.6.17

Today WampServer stops at 'Orange'. I have tried re-starting Services & PC: no difference. Only clue is in PHP error log:

It seems you have something wrong in wamp/alias/ directory.

Many thanks - you are quite right.
For some unknown reason the wamp/alias directory wasn't there! I don't understand because it has not been deleted or inadvertently moved elsewhere on my PC. Anyhow I restored the alias folder from a backup and I have 'Green' status and the WampServer is working again.
