Blank localhost Page and Nuance Omnipage

I just installed Wampserver2.2e and got the blank localhost screen when I tried to access it. I used the Test port 80 in the Apache>Service menu of the WAMP icon and found that WOS Web Dav was also using port 80, which Apache defaults to upon installation.
It took two hours for me to find that the Nuance Cloud Connector program was the culprit. I installed this program when I installed OmniPage 18. After uninstalling Nuance Cloud connector, going to localhost in my browser works as it should and display the configuration page.
Hope this saves someone else some time.
