I have been going crazy trying to get WAMP to work. My old version used to work fine, but the new one just won't get up and going. The problem seems to be MYSQL. After reading the forum, I figured I might have an old instance running, so I've deleted everyone I could find. I went into services and disabled MYSQL startup there, as its pointing to an old/deleted folder.
Here are the stats:
----------------------------------------------------
wampserver2.2e-php5.4.3-httpd2.2.22-mysql5.5.24-x64

Obviously, its the - default char set =latin seems to be the culprit. But how to fix it???
Thanks to anybody who can help. This is really slowing down my development work.
