WampServer

Hi All,

I'm on Windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64
Wamp v 2.5 x32
Apache v 2.4.9 (win 32)
PHP 5.5.12
SQL v 5.6.17


Using wamp & wordpress as an office intranet. Wamp is Green, I can access the admin of the site and phpMyAdmin locally but I cannot access it from another PC. I've added the server to our DNS lookups (correctly as far as I can tell?).
Wamp is set to put online

The only thing that i can add that seems strange is: on the wamp local host page when I click on my 'wordpress' project under Your Projects 'DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN'in chrome.


my installation path is C:\wamp\www\wordpress.

Your help is very much appreciated - I'm under serious pressure to get this done today

Have you created a Virtual Host to run your WordPress site in?

Hi RiggsFolly, yes I have it on its own virtual server.

Thanks for the link - will see if I can figure it out through this. Been trying all sorts over the last 6 hours done a clean re-install of wordpress and wamp and ended up missing .dlls thanks for your help again. I will post my solution when i get sorted
