I am faced with the following error
{C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.17\bin\httpd.exe is not a valid Win32 applicaion}

I also installed following completion
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010
Microsoft Visual C++ 2012
Microsoft Visual C++ 2013

The program will not be fully open
Where is the problem?

Hi,

See the section Downloads in the homepage :
Wampserver 2.5 is not compatible with Windows XP, neither with SP3, nor Windows Server 2003

The reason is not strictly WAMPServer's fault. Its becasue Microsofts MSVC 2012 C/C++ runtime will not install on XP or 2003 but Apache is compiled with VS2012. Hence it will not run.

As far as I know XP and Server 2003 are no longer supported by Microsoft.

The latest version of WAMPServer that will run on Server 2003 is WAMPServer 2.4
