WampServer

I have been using wamp server for a couple of years and have never had this problem before. When a user tries to download large files, the download goes ok until, randomly the transfer stops. There is no specific time or amount of data that has been transferred. Also, the files don't always fail sometimes if the user tries to download the same file the connection will not be dropped or not in the same place in the download. There is no record of the connection drops in the error logs. I just want to emphasize that these transfers are not threw php. Has anyone had this problem before? How do I fix this? If you need my httpd.conf I can post it. I wished I could give more information but I actually don't have any idea that is causing this problem.
