phpmyadmin mysql showing old style tabs

install latest WAMPserver and on phpmyadmin the tabs were differend to the old version and looked good, I uninstalled this version of WAMP and installed an older version I had on WinXP to test a connection issue.

When I uninstalled the old version and reinstalled the new version, the tabs on phpmyadmin were still the same as the old version, not as previously when I 1st installed the latest version

new version
apache2.4.2
mysql5.5.24
php5.4.3

old version
apache2.2.8
php5.2.5
mysql5.0.51a


how do I get the tabs back to the new look ?.

c:\wamp\tmp


delete all the files in here.

also on phpmyadmin there is a THEMES drop down, are you sure this is not the issue?

then there is no other option.. Unless.. you didnt actually unless it properly.

after you uninstalled , did you delete the wamp folder?

it remains for keeping your personal files like www and db,

yes I deleted the wamp folder and cleared recycle bin.

dose wamp install files in any other directory / registry keys?

no it does not install anything else that would affect phpmyadmin.

there is a few reg keys but they are only for the uninstaller setup

hmmm strange one, are there any settings to display old layout, I noticed under setting there is some menu layout but nothing I can see on style

done it....

in IE options history settings, goto objects and delete these seem to have fixed it for me...
