#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Please help! Am a newbie on wampserver and I'm having this problem when i messed up editing root privilege password! Had uninstalled it then re-installed the program but the problem still exist!

Have tried editing the passwords from 'Deny' to "Allow' to all but to no avail.

any ideas on this?

pls i have the same challenge i set a password for to my previledges then it reloaded the page giving me this message Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: no) pls how can get over this issue

you set a password for mysql. now phpmyadmin cant login cos it doesnt know the password ,

so tell phpmyadmin the password by adding it to c:\wamp\apps\phpmyadmin\config.inc
