Is it ready-to-use?

Hi,
My friend suggest WAMP for my website's databse needs.
I've installed it a couple hours ago. But I can't understand how exactly the things works.
I mean, does the database I created on localhost (my computer) will automatically ready-to-use for my website? For example, if I need a database for Wordpress, do I need to upload something to my webhost? How?

Thanks,
bitra, a newbie

You havez a local server with WAMP5, this means you have a local MyQSL database (accessible with phpmyadmin), an apache and PHP.
Your local server can be accessed threw

[localhost]
or
[your_ip]

I mean, does the database will be readable by "the rest of the world"?
Or this means that WAMP is only for local database testing purposes?

wamp is meant for local testing purposes.
If u want it accesible to the rest of the world then you have got to have u'r website hosted by an IP organisation.

You can open WAMP5 and its database to outside, but fot that you must configure MySQL and your network.

How do you configure the MySQL and network for others and the "outside" to view?
