changed IP of vps - can't access /admin

Hey guys
I have zero experience with wamp, but a developer that I have since lost touch with used it on a project.
I have a vps and he setup an admin panel via ip/admin.
Recently the vps had to be migrated by the operator and therefore the IP changed and now I can't access this admin like before.
I do have access to the vps itself but am completely unsure where to make the fix ... many thanks in advance!
