Hello, I just reinstalled windows vista 64 bit. I downloaded wamp server. I restarted computer. The icon was orange. I read in some topic below, that VC++ helped him. I downloaded it, installed it, also I let Windows update to update it. After restarting computer the icon is red. I use google chrome and It can´t find localhost. Can you help me somehow?

Check your hosts file

c:|windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Make sure you have
127.0.0.1 localhost

and not
::1 localhost

Hi, I just installed wampserver 2.2. It is showind red W in the taskbar. When I hover over it, it says wampserver online. But when I click localhost it gives error 'Not Found HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.'

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Anjali.
